Millions of Nigerian children are out of school. Nigeria is ranked 124th out of 137 countries in terms of quality of education. How can we give children in Nigeria access to education and improve the quality of learning?
With climate change, children in vulnerable communities face increased risks of diseases, hunger, displacement, and disruption to their education. How can we mitigate the impacts of climate change, build resilience and ensure the wellbeing of our children?

STEP 1
Sign up on www.kidinnovation.africa/challenge and upload a pitch deck or presentation summarizing your solution.
STEP 2
Shortlisted Applicants or teams are notified and invited for a preliminary interview by August 15, 2024.
STEP 3
7 finalists (individual or team) will be invited to the Demo Day to pitch their ideas to our Jury comprising visionary Founders, Investors and tech experts.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
Kids Innovation Challenge 2024 is an initiative of The Destiny Trust’s Kids Innovation Hub to empower underrepresented children with technology and arts skills and support them to develop their innovative ideas. The challenge offers young innovators an amazing opportunity to compete with others and get on a pathway to greatness with mentoring and further learning opportunities.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Children age 10 - 17 years in public school or low-incomeprivate schools and young secondary school leavers from low-income backgrounds.
